Activities
On average, once every six weeks we organize a transport to Krakow. Each trip carries around 1,500 kilos of relief goods and essential supplies. From Krakow, these items are further distributed to villages, schools, and hospitals/field hospitals, sometimes close to the frontline. When delivering the goods, we also help sort them in the warehouse so that follow-up transports can be packed efficiently.
We provide information and organize collections wherever possible, including in churches and schools.
Thanks to close contact with other organizations, companies, and shops, we are able to obtain goods that we can donate. Examples include:
- Purchasing discounted clothing at very low prices
- Buying non-perishable food and personal care products at reduced rates
- Collaborating with various second-hand shops
- Working with other charities that have surplus goods we can use
- Buying locally in Poland, such as food, diapers, and equipment like generators
Maintaining contact with healthcare institutions to receive medical and care materials that would otherwise be destroyed (for example, opened packages of incontinence products)
