Board and History

On May 14, 2025, after about three years, we officially became a foundation. The Board of the Foundation consists of four members:

• Cor van Rees – Chair
• Aalt van Bokhorst – Secretary
• Marieke Vredenberg – Treasurer
• Johan ter Maten – General Board Member

In addition to our board, several volunteers are actively involved, providing support in carrying out our activities.

In 2022, after the outbreak of the war, a group of friends began collecting relief goods and supporting an organization in Krakow, Poland. This organization focused on Ukrainian refugees who were continuously arriving in Krakow and the surrounding area at that time. Refugee aid was provided in the form of basic necessities, such as food and clothing.

In December 2024, this organization unfortunately ceased its activities. By then, however, we were already working closely with another organization in Krakow called Fundacja Team Krakow. Fundacja Team Krakow focuses on organizing aid transports directly into Ukraine and is entirely dependent on donated goods.
