During the weekend of 5–7 June, Cor and Sandra delivered a van full of relief goods to Team Krakau. Among these were the colouring books, pencils, markers, pens and other craft materials that we collected last Sunday. They were very happy with these items — they are often “forgotten” articles. Although they are not basic necessities, they are incredibly important to help people (especially children) take their minds off the war for a moment, or to process everything they are confronted with. We will continue collecting these items in the future.

There were also beautifully made children’s blankets from Nijkerkerveen again. It is truly special to see how much care has been put into them. These blankets will be given a meaningful destination, most likely a children’s home. We also brought along wonderful items from the inloophuis again. And of course, a large amount of canned food — soup, meat and pasta. All of this will go directly to the frontline, where soldiers and civilians will be very grateful for it.

Peter once again told us how valuable our transports are. The goods we bring each time are of very high quality and are forwarded with great care.

Thank you also for your financial contributions — they make it possible for us to continue this work, and they are indispensable. In July we will make another trip.
