This past weekend, March 27–29, Johan and Marieke drove to Krakow. It was an intense journey. As a team, we were hit with a major financial setback because we were registered on toll roads where payment should have been made through a Polish app. After a hefty fine and a lot of delay, we were finally able to continue our trip.
At Team Krakow, a very tired Piotr told us that shortages are starting to appear. Thankfully, we had brought so many useful supplies with us. We were deeply moved by the drawings he showed us, made by children living on the front line. They are heartbreaking. These drawings are being exhibited in the museum in Krakow.
Next weekend, Aalt and his father will drive to Krakow, and at the end of April Johan and I will go again. God is with us. And with all of you as well. We are grateful for all the support.
